Meet the winner of the #HHPHOTOS Competition
And the Winner is…
With a total of 252 likes between Facebook and Instagram, we are very pleased to announce that the overall champion of our HHPHOTOS Contest this Spring 2017 and the winner of a Magnum of Champagne is no other than:
Sandra Lambert / @sl_luberonphotography
The inspiring photo that won the hearts of many this Spring is this stunning sunrise that Lambert captured from Gordes in her home region in the Luberon, Provence!
Sandra Lambert is a photographer based in Robion, in the Vaucluse, just at the entrance of the Luberon Regional Park. She has several websites where everyone can view her photos and projects at www.objectif-reportages.com and www.provence-luberon-photographe.fr (a photography database on creation) and her official photography page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ObjectifReportagesPhotographies.SandraLambert
At present, Sandra is preparing her 2018 calendar with 13 of her best shots from the Luberon. She is also working on keeping her photography database up to date. This is where anyone can order prints of her shots. As a future project, Sandra is thinking of preparing an exhibition. She told the Home Hunts Team: “If I have time this coming year, I’d like to start a project shooting local people. I will also, of course, keep sharing my coup de Coeur shots with my followers and lovers of Provence.”
Sandra joined the competition for the fun of sharing photos of the stunning area where she is lucky enough to live. She informed us that: “Taking pictures and keeping them for yourself is no fun. Photography is made to be shared! Contests like this are a good way to discover new places and people that you probably would have never discovered otherwise. I’m very happy to have been part of this! I will participate again of course if you plan to organize another contest”.
If you are a budding photographer, Sandra has some words of advice – “Shoot with your heart as well as your eyes. Don’t be afraid of sharing your work. Besides the technical part, photography is a matter of feeling and emotion. What is important is that people who are looking at your photography feel an emotion (happiness, sadness, anger…) when they look at the photos. Photography is a wonderful way of gathering people from all over the world. I’m always looking forward to discovering new places and people!”
We would like to thank all the contestants that have joined the HHPHOTOS Contest, bravo to all of you! A feature on the profiles of each of the contestants can be read here on Delux. It was a close call for the other photo entries with a lot of our followers from Facebook and Instagram liking many other entries too.
We hope that this competition has helped to inspire some of you to get out there and capture some lovely moments on your cameras. We would love you to join the next edition of the HHPHOTOS Contest! Watch this space…..
Champagne cheers once again to Sandra Lambert!
